Just for anyone out there that finds carb cycling works well for them, here is an example excel template I put together (screen shot for reference) of a cutting carb cycling diet.

If you carb cycle, how do you like to setup your plan?

Very nice template. I've done high/low days in the past but never high and zero carb days. Most of the time, I prefer a steady diet, day in day out.

I normally prefer a steady plan as well, but this has oddly been working pretty well for me.

The zero carb days are not a true zero carb as no matter what you are getting trace from the veggies and your veggie choices matter. They can be a challenge for sure though.

I agree, and if it's working for you, that's fantastic. Keep going man.

I love carb cycling.
When cutting I take in pre and post workout carbs and protein and fat the rest of the day meals.
Then I will do a couple almost zero carb days to get me right deep in the trench.
Then a refeed day in a Saturday or Sunday.
Then the next day after refeed I do a good session in the gym striving for a deep pump and hard failure via rest pause or supersets drop sets etc.
That pump day is my favourite and it takes some work to figure it out for you but carb depletion and then refeed with clean carbs like white rice, potatoes , sweet potatoes etc. Extra salt and then late afternoon dirty favourite meal like pizza burgers or something extra nasty and salty and fatty and carby.
Boom full and vascular and feel amazing.
