Salt in foods

Ive really worked at cleaning up my diet on this cut and haven't had processed foods/junk food since new year. I really wanted to get my abs to show more for the summer.

I made great progress and lost some weight but now I find a lot of food I used to enjoy just tastes like a salt overload and I just dont enjoy it anymore. I guess that's a good thing since its not the best for you anyway.

Just curious if anyone else has noticed this because ive cut weight before but have never had this happened.

as soon as you cut out the ultraprocessed food for whole foods and do it consistently, you definitely can taste the difference.
we all need salt, cutting it low is not a good thing overall for performance and leaning out. 3-5 g a day as an athlete is perfectly acceptable.
