  1. 1200mg of T400 was my highest while weighing 275lbs at 6’4”. Felt ill, as in ailing health. Lethargy, skin colour was off, sweating all the time, just not a nice way to treat my body. I was also on around 800mg deca and ran dbol for the first 4 weeks then anadrol for the last 4 weeks of a 16 week run. That 275lbs was not lean. Had quite the belly during that time. Was strong as an ox though. I now sit around 230lbs and won’t go above 800mg test again. Not worth the wear and tear if I’m not going to ever go on a stage. I’m on prescribed TRT and will only run one blast a year.
  2. Those vests are green. Not to take anything away from the movement, I honestly haven’t had time to look into what they’re about, but those are green. The colour was actually called ANSI (American national safety institute) Green. I’ll go read about the movement now ?
  3. Best way to clear up acne is with vitamin B5 (Pantothenic acid). Takes a bit to dial in but it’s almost magic when you find your threshold. The trick here is slow at first or you won’t be able to be far from a washroom. Start with 1-2g split three times throughout the day. Run that for a day or two then start increasing the dose each day by another 500mg. Keep doing this until either until you start seeing your skin dry out or you get to the 10-12g range. Once you’re at either of those points run it for a week and you’ll start to see a lot less oil production. Now you can start backing off the dose by 200-250mg (depending on the capsule dose) every 2-3 days. When you start to notice some oil returning to your skin you have found your threshold. Add back 500mg and stay there until your skin is fresh and clean or keep on that dose until your cycle and PCT is done. Sounds like a lot of playing around but in real world it’s only a matter of remembering what dose you were at the day before and adding or removing a cap or two. I used to get horrible acne. I tried nearly every cream and medicated wash, accutane, doxycycline, and other vitamins with little results or side effects like horrible sunburns and potential long term issues. After trying this little trick I would never use anything else. I went from having near cystic acne to a few weeks later having very clear oil free skin. Note: forgot to mention. Don’t get the slow release version. Get the regular B5. I tried the slow release and it didn’t have the same effect.
  4. Looking for past experiences with disc issues. Been having troubles with my back for the better part of the last year. It gets to the point when I get a sharp pain in the lumbar region then my legs basically loose all strength and I drop. This is followed by 2-3 days of horrible pain and stiffness. Not even a hope of getting socks on those days. Went to the doc, prescribed naproxen and cyclobenzaprine. Seems to help a little. Also order an MRI and referred me to a chiropractor. The Chiropractor says it’s discogenic pain due to suspected infiltration of the “inner gooey stuff” pushing through layers of the disc cartilage and possibly a full herniation at some point (probably the times my legs go weak and I drop). L4 and L5 seem to be the culprits. For treatment I have been doing the stretches and exercises the chiro prescribed, and taking the meds on the worst days. I have also been hanging from the top bar on the squat rack while hanging weights for spinal traction. Getting some relief from the traction if I do them first thing in the morning after struggling to get out of bed due to the pain and stiffness. So to turn a long post shorter: Have you had a disc issue in the past? Did it get better to the point of returning to normal functioning?(ie. can jog, shovel snow, do squats, etc.. again). How long did it take? How is the pain now? ...and now the bonus part. Have you tried Deca or another compound that increases collagen synthesis with much result? I’m about to start some low dose deca and really hit a rehab program with it.
  5. Here what happens. We save up a little cash from each pay, maybe do a cash job, sell something all in the excitement of running a little gear. You plan it out, you dream about it, even get a little horny about it. Then in true lunchbox let down fashion, something goes wrong and your dreams hit a snag. All that day dreaming and excitement crushed. So you freak out a little and with some hormone manipulation happening you become a hormonal teen in your brain. As sorbate said above, we all have had this happen (guilty myself). Your issue here was only wrongful direction of that disappointment and being hormonal. We have all seen countless threads over the years ranting about Canada Posts incompetence and mistakes. Beyond getting off track in this thread I have to say this reps communication has been top notch. Anyone else coming to this thread with an issue should just take a breather and a lesson from this, contact the rep first, or just wait and the package will some how mysteriously show up long after the delivery message. Enjoy your gear ?
  6. As much as I am “pro-steroid” I think the writer is downplaying or sweeping aside the risks to a degree by offering solutions to each problem like it is going to fix everything as a blanket coverage. Most of the solutions the writer talks about requires responsible use and a user not ignoring what their body is telling them. Unfortunately, as humans do, most people ignore or turn a blind eye to what they don’t want to see or hear. Don’t get me wrong I agree with much of what the writer is saying and absolutely agree that the claims from media and the agencies and the medical community are greatly exaggerated. However, the risks are real and everyone is different. These side effects can be little to nothing in a vast majority of users, but there are some that the side effects are severe and can be long lasting and not be simply reversed upon cessation of use or counteracting meds like anti estrogens. Examples: orals and liver tumours (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/6287645/), elevated hematocrit and associated risks (if I was irresponsible and didn’t have regular bloodwork done and donated blood I would be in trouble here. Many users do not do this yet run long cycles or blast and cruise for years), scaring cystic acne (we have all seen that “one guy” at the gym), or fertility issues (I know someone personally that had a hell of a time getting his fertility back after years of blast/cruise, came back but caused a great deal of heartache and stress for him and his wife over the 2 or so years. I’ll find out where my body is on this in the coming few years as well). It all comes down to educating ones self unbiasedly before using and accepting that you may pull a short straw on one of the side effects. Also RESPONSABLE usage and preventative maintenance measures like bloodwork and just not being an idiot about it (I have been guilty of this in the past). I personally feel the truth is somewhere between the two sides but definitely a hell of a lot closer to what this article is saying than the exaggerated claims we keep hearing. All in all, there are much worse things we could be “abusing”.
  7. I normally stay very quiet when it comes to reviews, but I have to give acknowledgement on how prompt this rep was. Quick replies and very fast processing and delivery. Couldn’t have asked for more on that end. I will post a product review once I start my winter cycle. Ordered Deca 300, T400, dbol and some Anavar for the girlfriend. Being on TRT and having previous prostate issues, I am a fan of “mini blasts” going only as high as 600mg/week test for 8-10 weeks with a little dbol kick to start. The Deca I only plan to blast a little with at first then running low dose long term for joint and back rehab. Ordered enough for two mini blasts and nearly a year or so of low dose Deca. Excited to start ?
  8. Why choose? I’m a both kind of guy. Equal opportunity if you will.
  9. In this cross fit era I have a feeling there will be some horrible form here. I'm sure we have all seen these "warriors" in the gym.
  10. Two directions of thought here. Seems like the "new" way of thinking is to have the blood level spike for the workout and let it trail off for the "post workout" phase. Interesting concept but I feel is missing the mark. The second train of thought is that you want to keep the blood levels constant throughout the day during the recovery as well. My take on it: I like to hit both ideas together. A higher blood level immediately before, during and after the workout is great, especially with the degree of catabolic hormones that will be released due to the physiologic stress you'll be putting your body through. So let's try to counteract it as best as possible. But... Doing that will miss the whole muscle rebuilding phase that occurs between. Muscle is made between the workouts, not during. The workout is only adding a stimulus for triggering adaptation to the stress, therefore growth. So why are we ignoring the rebuilding phase? We should be looking to assist throughout the complete process when the stress hormones will still be elevated and the rebuilding will be looking for everything it can use. One can argue that the pump should be considered of highest priority due to the increased blood flow and nutrient shuttling. Absolutely it should be! However, what degree does that take over the recovery phase. So, how do we please them all? Spike the dose preworkout, while running a constant dose throughout the rest of the day. So for a typical 50mg/day dosing that may look like this: 10mg morning, noon, and before bed. 20mg preworkout. (Of course adapting the timing depending on where your workout falls). This way you can also lower the strain on the liver by not blowing it way over its ability to process the drug. Just like splitting you Tylenol dose when sick. Many will say they have done it both ways an haven't noticed any measurable difference. That may be so, but my brain won't let me ignore the scientific rationale. There you have it, a super long post that basically says 'I split the dose throughout the day with an extra higher dose preworkout".
  11. The answer to your post is Yamaha. Yamaha makes the best sleds ?
  12. I really wish I had come up with a better name all those years ago. Just my name followed by numbers and letters randomly suggested by Yahoo many many years ago when signing up for a Yahoo group totally unrelated to bbing. 'Matt' and a few other variations were already taken and of the 3-4 suggestions Yahoo spit out this was the easiest to remember. Got used to using it and it stuck. This is going back to the mid to late 90s. I used Caesar on another forum I was an admin on that was for all natural bodybuilding and the owner didn't want any association to AAS use (same owner of former rippedcanadians forum that I was also an admin on), so that was what I came up with. I also signed up for another forum as Myoblast. Can't even remember what forum that was, even if I did I wouldn't remember that was the name I used. So best to stick with this old name.
  13. Same old nerdy me just been way to busy to post or get into scientific discussions. Usually lurking around a few times per week. Hopefully I'll be more active once the winter slow down starts for me. Thought I would just draw a slight little attention to myself as I have been very under the radar for quite some time and probably a forgotten username to a few by now lol.
