  1. Hi everyone .. I've been a member of this forum for quite some time and I rarely post but this has been so tremendously helpful I feel the need to inform others. On January 25th of this year I finally had surgery for 2 completely torn rotor tendons that I had been living with for 2 years. When the injury first took took place the very next day I went and had x-rays taken at the hospital and within 4 days I also had an ultrasound. Both of these came back as partial tears to the tendons. I began using BPC-157 in the hopes it would help heal the tendons faster. In the next 6 to 9 months as I saw a consistent decline in my mobility and strength in the shoulder I had my doctor send me for another x-ray and ultrasound. Additionally, the AC joint was starting to protrude and I was dealing with constant “clicking” in the shoulder which was sometimes painful. Again the images came back as 2 partial tears to the rotator tendons. I was perplexed. I had been using BPC-157. I did physiotherapy. I had modified my workouts. Nothing was helping. Forward to around May of 2021 and I was fed up. I went to my doctor and had him take another look at my shoulder, the protruding AC joint and demonstrated the clicking that was going on. He sent me for an MRI. Results came back as two completely torn rotator tendons that had now retracted 5cm due to how long it had been from the initial injury. Doctor sent me to a surgeon where it was explained to me that there was no guarantee he could reattach the tendons as they had retracted so far from their insertion point. I initially had surgery booked for October 2021 but I had to put it off due to work related reasons which was not a good decision looking back. Surgery re-booked for Jan 25th 2022. I was very lucky to have the surgeon I did as the operation was a success. On top of reattaching the tendons he added a “donor tissue” patch to reinforce everything. For those wanting to know specifically, the procedure was Arthroscopic rotator cuff repair and superior capsular reconstruction. The post surgery recovery for something like this is awful. It is 6 to 8 weeks in a sling, 23 hours per day and basically no use of your arm for the first 2 or 3 weeks. Complete recovery takes 6 to 12 months. If you ever have to have this done I sincerely hope you have a significant other who can help you do almost everything including shower for the first few weeks. 2 weeks post surgery and it was my first follow up with the surgeon. I asked him if I could use BPC-157 to help recover. He had not heard of it and he went on PubMed right there in his office and read some of the literature and gave me the okay to proceed with its use. That was the answer I was hoping for as I had already purchased the BPC from BodyTech and had it ready to go and did my first injection the moment I got home. I use 500mcg once per day injected sub-q into the shoulder I had the surgery on. If any of you have used BPC before you will know, literally 5 minutes after you inject you will feel as though you have put some grease in your joints. At least that’s how I feel. You will gain more mobility within days. The stuff is amazing imo. So as I was saying earlier, with the surgery I had it is typically 6 to 8 weeks in a sling. With the use of BPC-157 I was out of the sling in 4 weeks .. I would still wear it if I was going out anywhere but if I was just relaxing at home I felt I was recovering better not wearing it. Additionally, physio and the surgeon are quite impressed with my recovery, which is still ongoing. So that’s my experience. A big thanks and shout out to BodyTech for providing an excellent product. Please feel free to ask questions and provide commentary .. I will follow up as best I can. Cheers, Man Oil
