This study reports that ashwagandha supplementation is associated with significant increases in muscle mass and strength and suggests that ashwagandha supplementation may be useful in conjunction with a resistance training program.

Compared to the placebo subjects, the group treated with ashwagandha had significantly greater increases in muscle strength on the bench-press exercise and the leg-extension exercise, and significantly greater muscle size increase at the arms. Compared to the placebo subjects, the subjects receiving ashwagandha also had significantly greater reduction of exercise-induced muscle damage as indicated by the stabilization of serum creatine kinase , significantly greater increase in testosterone level, and a significantly greater decrease in body fat percentage.

I have been taking ashwaganda for about two months now. Haven't noticed too much in strength gains but arms have come along a little. The biggest thing I've noticed is better erections! Wasn't expecting this to happen but did further research and found apparently it can help with this also. Anyone else here using it? It it recommended to cycle ashwaganda?
