GIcez
How are you getting your bloodwork? I tried to be totally upfront and honest with my doc which landed me bare bones blood work (half the stuff I asked for) and no future bloods or tests because she doesn't support my decision to use testosterone. Definitely fucks with my plans to do this as safely as possible. I'm in the military, which makes things a little more complicated.
Physlifter
Go see a naturopath doctor. You'll have to pay for your tests as the ones you want wouldn't likely be covered by provincial health insurance, but you'll get what you're asking plus a more supportive health professional.

Get Lab Tests From Doc Online I found this recently and have just messaged them as it appears my extended health benefits might cover the cost making it completely unnecessary for me to even have to involve my useles doc lol...

So it turns out that my extended benefits doesn't cover telehealth or virtual care. Manulife is the worst lol. I'm pretty sure my old Dejardins insurance did. Anyway, it looks loike it would only cost $49.95 to have a regular doc (no specialist required) issue the request for the lab tests. In my mind, that's money well spent just to keep my moron doc out of my face over it. And its not like I won't just pad the next claim I make to cover it anyway on my insurance. That's why it's completely asinine that they won't just pay anyway.
ARUSH
49 bucks is for the consultation. Wonder if there's extra fees for the req. I'm sure the test themselves must cost something. No?
BobTheOldLifter
Some are covered, some are not. Costs me around $100 out of pocket each time.
millenium girl
I have a full bloodwork every 3 months and most of it is covered (I live in Northern Europe).

I used this last week. Got the blood requisition in less than 10 minutes of texting with the doc. It's a generic Dynacare form that you can take to any provincial lab. Well worth the $50 imo. Gonna see if I can use the same form more than once. The form is undated so I could potentially use it throughout the year

With the amount people spend on gear it seems odd that anyone would cheap out over $50 to make sure they’re healthy enough to use It all! I did this just to try it but honestly I'll probably find myself using it for things other than bloodwork. Maple has a "credits" offer on their app, so if you buy $200 worth of credits you get a 10% discount. So $200 worth for $180. I'll be buying that next and consulting a doc to get prescriptions etc. that I want instead of having to wait for an appointment or having to skip work. I think because the docs on the app get paid per successful consultation (meaning if they can't help you you don't get charged), they have an incentive to give you what you want

They chatted me in like 2 minutes and emails were returned within 30 minutes. That's some pretty damned fine service compared to a ton of other online services I have experienced. I'm definitely spending the $50 on this...it's really a no brainer and like @MuscleDummy said, given what we spend on gear, $50 is nuthin! Dyna is a good lab too, the only onew I know of here where you can get the Sensitive Estradiol assay done. On a side note, I just got my donor card from Canadian Blood Services, showed up in the mail way faster than they said it would. Funny thing though, I got a phonecall from them a couple of days ago just to ask me about my experience from my recent donation of a pint. My wife donated at the same time and no follow up call and her crad has not arrived. I was wondering whythat might be. Believe it or not, at 54 years old, I had no idea what my blood type was. I just never bothered to find out on any of the occasions where I could have easily. Turns out I am B+ which is like only 7% of North Americans roughly. A little digging and some info I found leads me to believe that people with more rare blood types get a little extra attention to make sure, or at least try to make sure, they keep coming back. We're going to do it regularly anyway, as I think it's just a good idea just from a civic duty sort of thing, but I also like seeing my hematocrit at 14.1 after 8 weeks on gear. I'm not sure if I might have been a bit anemic b4 as it's possible from my health issues but we'll see what the next one is and the one after that cuz there some Primo in my future on top of the Test E lol...

The closest one to me is Niagara Falls but I would imagine Toronto too...not sure about smaller centers but their webiste would list them I would imagine. They also answer their phones in short order so if nothing else you can give them a ring.
blondieguy
Hey, anybody use GetMaple more than once? The doctor said he wants to speak to me after my results are in and put down a smiley face, makes me feel like a shithead for just using him to check my test and lipids and shit, lol. I've been using Maple multiple times now. No issues with the doctors. They're happy to give you what you want. I straight up tell them my gear usage and they don't judge or say anything about. This is a lucrative way for them to make big $$$ all from sitting at home and not having to bother with patients.
