HCG while on TRT

I was doing 750/wk split mon/wed/fri. I stopped after a year. Nuts shrank just a little bit but that's all.

Other than testicle size/function, what other reasons are there to take hcg?

I'm wondering that as well, what reasoning does everyone have to actually take it?

Do you actually think or know that it keeps your sperm production working? If so, do you have tests that prove that? Does it give guys a better sense of well being? Do you find that you have more conversion to estrogen and need an AI?

If you guys are on TRT and also HCG you should mention how much test with the HCG as someone running 75-100mg/week of test plus 500iu HCG 3 times a week is much different than just 500iu of HCG a week.  For myself, only on Test at 125mg/week unless I decide to add in something like HCG by myself.

I'm curious about this too. Is the reasoning behind this purely testicular size?

this is what my a trt doc said

1. Prevention of testicular atrophy.
-- This is done by mimicking LH and restarting natural testosterone production in the testes.

2. Speed up recovery.
-- This is done by mimicking LH so that your Leydig cells remain stimulated. More on this in the next segment.

3. Balances hormonal fluctuation. (Mainly testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) patients and dose dependant)
-- By strategically timing hCG injections, you will prevent "dips" in serum levels.

4. hCG in involved in the process of production for DHEA, Cortisol and Pregnenolone.
-- A host of benefits here. These benefits will combat fatigue and stress, betters your mood, has a role in energy, reduced cardiovascular risk, immune stimulation, betters memory, and more.

Still working on getting a trt script. I just ran some hcg & proviron and had great results.

Split 5000ius into 3 shots took it every 3rd day and 50 mg of proviron a day. My test score went from 8-19!

But it crashed after I quit.

that could be due to the proviron freeing up your test

2-3 week stints of hcg every 6 months? Find a new doc, that makes no sense if I read that correctly.

If you're on TRT you should be on hcg or off hcg....not on and off.

If you're not using testosterone HCG can be used to kick start your natty system for few ppl, but doesn't work for all....yet since you mention trt protocol, you aren't working with natty levels anymore anyway. So I really have no idea what the reasoning for that regimen is.

Instead of being your own doctor, go find a doc who knows what they're doing. TRT/HRT has many specialists now so there is no excuse since the majority of people are at worse a few hour car ride away from getting a decent doc.

Are you American? I guess because here in Canada ( at least Ontario) no doctor prescribed HCG I find one specialist who give me testosterone and it as take forever I ask for HCG answer was no!

No I'm Canadian from ontario...had 3 diff docs prescribe HCG. One in ottawa doesn't do trt anymore, other was general pract who did it for short period until got to specialist and current person who I'd recommend ppl see still does - dr welchner in Aurora. Dr.Komer is mastermens will do it too but you might have to push for it.
