Physlifter
Twice a year I get my bloods done the week of seeing my Endo. I run blast and cruises twice a year. Generally 16 week blasts. Then I go back down to my 200 mg a week dosage and run that for 3 months. Everything is bang on. I didn't get psa checked because of a form error but it's always 0.1. Normal. Vit D is getting checked again as I have some hx of low numbers, but that may not translate to anything clinically. Moral of the story..always do bloods. At least once a year. Live a positive lifestyle, even when using super supps. It pays for itself!!
funlog
Great numbers Physlifter. Very cool you can get free test measured. They won't do it at lifelabs in BC if you're in range. Have a look at my ferritin from yesterday, lol. Oxygen, I don't need no stinking oxygen.

Your iron levels are especially low and your blood cell volume is low. Those correlate. Are you anemic? Flags right there buddy you need to address those if you haven't. My test gets checked because I see an endocrinologist for low test to validate the dosage i'm taking. This is always at the end of the week before my next shot so i'm in the trough. funlog
Not anemic, just deficient. Just waiting for my next round of IV's. Completely sucks because of no energy and brain fog. Been going to specialists for years, cameras up my ass, CT scans, MRIs and no one can give me a definitive answer, although I have a mild case of Crohn's. Strength4dayz
Hey @Physlifter. Didn't want to start a new thread for this question... How long do you stop a blast before getting TRT bloodwork? Am i reading that correctly that you cruise back at 200mg for 3 months prior to getting your blood pulled? If you were running prop or acetate esters, would you be comfortable with less time due to half life etc? I know its not a black and white answer, more so just wondering your opinion? I give 6 weeks after the last enanthate ester to clear out and put me in the normal zone, all while i still take my normal TRT amount. I take my shot on a monday night, then get bloods the following monday morning before my next shot.

Hey man, if you live in Vancouver, just pop across the border for blood work. There and back in 3 hours. funlog
@Nixter I do live in Vancouver. Are you talking about Bellingham? Can you recommend a place? Cost? Thanks very much.
Nixter
Sorry for the late reply. Go online to privatemdlabs. com or discountlabs. com and pick out a blood panel. They have shifts ones that will cover exactly what you need. You'll then make an appointment at a collection site, labcorp or quest. I use labcorp in Bellingham. Cost depends on which panel you pick but 100-150 US probably. Look for discount codes. You may have to actually call privatemdlabs as I've had issues paying online with a Canadian CC. My clinic orders it for my panels
Blitz
Do you ever get labs when on? Dante recommends that. Basically says obviously your labs are going to be good when your off or on trt. You eat well and train they should be excellent, if they aren't you should be scared. What you really care about is how they look when you're on. If you do 2 16 week blasts, you're on for the majority of the year and that's what you want to see. I started doing blood work half way through my cycle and my hdl and liver values weren't that great. Considering that are stellar when I'm off. Started supplementing to fix this. What kind of supplements do you take to combat low HDL and high LDL on cycle?

Fish oil in a dose that delivers 5g combined DHA/EPA per day year round, ubiquinol the evidence is mixed but I take 100mg every day. I supplement my diet with a lot of olive oil, probably 1tbsp per meal while bulking and 1tsp per meal when cutting. On cycle I take a garlic supplement, plus I cook a lot with it and eat pickled garlic in my salad year round. I don't have issue with LDL ever but if I did I would take a Psyllium supplement before bed and upon waking in a pretty high dose. But fish oil, garlic and olive oil will also help lower LDL.
