Never used it but from a type-1 diabetic's perspective, it looks like a BS supplement.

One clinical trial showed that Irvingia gabonesis improved the patient’s fasting blood glucose by 32.3%! Even more impressive, the participants given Irvingia gabonesis also saw a 5% decrease in waist circumference [3].

Funny, improved glucose by 32.3%? What the frick does that mean? Also funny, there is no footnote on the page for the citation [3] so there is no way to find out the actual wording of the study. IMO save your $$$ for real gear.

@Littlefry is on the right track.

Generally speaking insulin mimetic products found over the counter are mostly useless. The only products that have any effect are berberine, r-alpha lipolic acid, chromiun, and banaba leaf.  The first 2 having the best effect overall.

Most mimetic products (especially in Canada) are over priced and have very small amounts of some of the above with a bunch of fillers.

Cost wise it would almost be cheaper to actually run the real deal, but ensure before doing that you research and educate yourself on the risk/reward and how to steps. I would go alittle more indepth but I am lacking sleep, haha.
