Need4tren
Hey. So I've used mig840 for all my brews. Nothing is painful except for the test e. Two batches both painful. Any clues go why?
Ryujiin
A lot of test-e raws have been having issues with pip the last year regardless of brew/carrier. Phenol/carbolic acid used in the manufacturing process seems to be the culprit. Switch to cyp unless you have a pile of enanth raws and in that case you can try cooking your brew at 100 Celsius for 20-25 mins and allow to cool down. Then filter and you will have pip free enanthate, in theory (as this is what I have seen others do, not from personal experience. Do note that some have reported their brew gets a much darker color after this process. Proceed at your own risk lol.

As in theory that would sterilize it aswell. Still will refilter it obviously
Ryujiin
The recommended sterilization at a hospital is 15 min at 250F (in an autoclave), FYI. So 20-25min is a good window to account for heat up time. 400F is overkill. Try a small batch and see how it turns out before you brew up your big batch. Both test e and sust melted before the brew. Is there anyway to fix this? Or is it at a loss?
Guest
I’m guessing it is just a loss, I would start over , One of our sponsors has great success with Mig and the gear is smooth and painless including their test-e.
Ryujiin
You heat post brew, pre-filter. FYI. I did not mean to bake the raws.

Ryujiin
Ah, got cha. It happens. Im not surprised about the test-e melting. Its not garbage but may be hard to get accurate measurements as it would be very difficult to get it all out of the bag in that state. You can put it in the freezer for a few days and it will go solid again, in theory.
Need4tren
I did that exactly. Major pain. Tried baking it at 200 no luck. Gonna try 400 and if not toss it.
Ryujiin
That sucks. Hope the re-batch works out. Have you ever used product with Mig before? Just wondering as most guys prefer MCT for home brew.
Guest
Just a suggestion here might be an obvious one but I’ll go there anyway, Why don’t you guys try a small order of test-e from one of our sponsors that use Mig and see if it’s the mig or the test ? MedicusResearch uses Mig as there carrier and it is smooth and a fast injection. Might be worth the couple of dollars to find out. CBDB NorthernLifters Admin Team.
