Hey folks,

Thought I would pitch in and let the amazing ladies and gents that welcome all of our new members know that we no longer automatically post to welcome new members.

We found that with the rapid expansion we are seeing with our board, the bot was cluttering up the personal touch on welcoming new members.

This forum will now be a dedicated place for members to introduce themselves and make their own threads to do so.

I'll remove this post once we start getting more introductions from our community, as we get the hang of it.

Looking forward to getting to know more of you!

That makes sense.Mr Jake. At EG, a board I'm a supermod at, there is such a post every time someone registers but what's the point? Some of them are just lurkers .... They won't even answer the thread.

When a forum is new, it's a great way to show that it's active, but once you hit a certain point (10-20 registrations a day), it starts to become too much, and it's just easier to let users introduce themselves whenever they feel, especially with what you said, people sometimes just ignore it.
