What do you find most helpful keeping sane during a bodybuilding prep?

What tips and tricks do you have to keep sane during a prep with diet, cardio, weightlifting sessions and cycle protocols?

Lol gonna sound crazy but I treat the prep like a video game and everything is a mission with achievements to unlock

I look at it as if I'm not doing it someone else is and now there that much further ahead, go in and outwork the hardest workers

Just having a deadline, I find motivating enough. If I'm committed to stand on stage, I don't want to be there thinking "If I only did this or didn't do that".
 
A big one is turning off all social media, wifi, tvs, phones, radios.
Glow in the dark clock as well.
Grab a red light bulb for your bedside lamp

Do all these things bare minimum 2hrs before bed the best out come is 3hrs!

Valarien Yea or tablets will also greatly aid your sleep.

To help with your head and it constantly spinning from thoughts or gear, read books, get involved in a constuctive fourm where you fit in and can relate, this will help big time.

Stay involved with you, yourself but don't be afraid to set it all down and take a break for a day or 2
 
Any time you want to shut down eating for the day or have cravings.
Go brush your teeth.
It has gotten me out of a few times in had deep carb cravings whilst prepping or dieting in general.
It works.
A lot of other times our brain tells us we want carbs, but in reality we are NEEDING protein or salt.
I take a scoop of protein add in 1/2 t of salt and 400 or so mg of potassium or add coconut water to proteins and salt and voila, cravings gone.

Good points.
Drinking just water and make your own electrolytes helps with hunger as well
Example:

Potassium
Magnesium
Lemon Concentrate
Sodium(salt)
Edit** water

Mix and drink 2 or 2 x per day with low carbing, fasting like the OMAD method od fasting

Prep was terrible at the end but I was so bound and determined to stay the course, nothing would have stopped me.

That being said, making foods as delicious tasting as possible, and just accepting you're hungry and you gotta get on with life.

Vigorous steve and his other crew are now pushing mitochondrial health with SLU PP332, mot c, methylene blue, and a few others that apparently have changed the game and now you can diet down, get super shredded, and have like zero brain fog, all the energy, and go on like nothing has happened - all while being in a solid deficit at low low bf numbers.

It's something i'm trying to find here in Canada but no luck at all

Only place I've seen it is China...
I think a company called domestic-supply 🤔 had it at one point.
