  1. Hey guys, just need a bit of a refresher here. It’s been quite sometime since I’ve ran any gear, so I’m a bit fuzzy.

Just running a basic testosterone cyp 500mg weekly. Probably for 8 weeks, maybe longer, we’ll see how it plays it out but my question is when to start taking my ai

I take aromasin 12.5,, and 3x a week was enough for me but when should I start popping it? Second week of pinning?

No hcg or pct I don’t care about ball size or kids and I’m on trt

Good for you mate. That's great news! Please let us know how you're doing on that dose. At 300mg/week total/week now I wonder if you'll start needing an AI or any other supportive protocols.

Bit of a misunderstanding, it’s 150/mg every 2 weeks and it’s pretty close to my sweet spot which was 200/mg every 2 weeks.

Id be going back to that dosage on my own anyway for the next few months but I’m seriously considering a test cycle right away.

  3. Well, my doctor actually listened to me this time around. I’m up to 150/mg bi weekly instead of the 200/mg weekly I was originally prescribed to, and up from 100/mg every 3 weeks

I see it as a win though, I thought for sure she wasn’t going to continue my hrt, and that there’ll be a fight. Pretty shocking.

Just curious, if you followed instructions, what dosage are you 'supposed' to be on?

My original doctor a few years ago, through trial and error over 6 months (and blood work and actual conversation ) had me dialed in at 2cc bi weekly, (100/mg x2) which is where I felt good. He was okay with dosage, and actually listened to what I was saying.

Current doctor keeps cutting me down every six months, she currently only wants me doing 1cc every 3 weeks. Pretty sure tomorrow she’s going to try to take me right off of it

I told my new doc something pretty much like that, except I left out the libido part as I didn't want her to have any ammo for any sort of claim of vanity, and she couldn't have cared less. I basically spelled it out for her exactly what was going to happen if we didn't get my levels up ie pain levels go up, pain meds efficacy goes down, no "little bit tired" about it if it is left long enough I'll be bedridden, mental state will drop down a deep dark hole and best case scenario I end up in the hospital. None of this is conjecture on my part as it already happened ONCE because after that my old doc and I kept it in check and my records show that. A few minutes later in the conversation she actually looked at me and said "Being a little tired and low libido isn't enough reason to go on Testosterone Replacement Therapy". I couldn't believe my ears but I'm stuck with her for now because of my other needs.

Been a day today though today. Found out my Endo referral that I asked for is end of January, First of February at the earliest and a clinic I was going to go to tomorrow for a consult might just as well be a "time share" seminar as that's basically whats gonna happen if I even bother to still show up for the consult. I asked my pharmacist to look into them because their website is really vague and when I called to ask questions I couldn't get any straight answers, all of which had my gut telling me nope, no way this isn't gonna be good., Anyway my pharmacist is the best dude, and he made some calls to other pharmacists I guess and they clued him in to the racket they have going where they are basically charging for stuff that could be billed to OHIp but they are calling it consultations and evaluations etc etc to getaway with it.They basically size you up at the consult and try to figure how much they can get out of you and try to sign you up for "packages" with the price getting better the more you buy lol.

So basically that means now that unless something else presents itself, as in my finding a new doc, I'm going to be doing this myself until at least end of Jan/Feb. At least now I know and can plan it out without being unsure in the time frame etc.

Sounds like your doctor’s even more closed minded then mine. I disagree with your libido comment, only because that my low sex drive almost got me divorced (and is why I started TRT)so I put a huge emphasis on that. A healthy sex life is crucial not vane, and fuck anyone who says otherwise. If my doctor said or hinted that to me I’d be filing a formal complaint and definitely searching for a new doc and self administer but I don’t know your entire situation, but that’s how I feel.

I had a male doctor put me on trt, moved twice since then and have had 2 female doctors since and both are against trt. Feels biased

  6. Well, this was back in November when I asked this and I figured since I’m back now I’d mention that as of right now, my doctor hasn’t taken me off of it yet. She took me down to 1 cc every 3 weeks of test cypianate for the last 6 months and to do my bloods end of May.

Well the first 4 months I just did my own thing and doubled that because fuck her, and then I went down to her prescribed dose and did my bloods. I have an appointment with her tomorrow afternoon about the results, I’ll just say the usual “no sex drive wife hates me can’t sleep depressed blah blah blah” and see how it goes.

Just thought I'd share my experience and excitement.

I've been on TRT now, for a relatively short time - about 6 weeks so far.  As I explained in my intro, I'm a lifetime lifter and am in this for the long term.  I just mean my health and quality of life is very important, and getting larger (or much larger at least) as a side benefit is great, sure, but isn't my primary focus.  My experience so far has me very very exited and I thought I'd share.

My initial goal was/is to get leaner.  My diet is pretty good/strict, and for the first 8 weeks or so (starting before TRT begain) I tried the Sarm S4.  Meh... Didn't really notice anything different, no sides though, but yeah my strength held out pretty good for the first 20lbs of loss, so that's good I guess but overall I was underwhelmed.  When I started the TRT (just 100mg/wk initially) I did notice my waist began shrinking a little quicker so that's cool.  Now I've given RAD 140 a shot, pretty low dose just looking for a little help getting leaner and staying strong.  But, now THIS is different!!  Last workout (about 2 weeks or so into RAD 140), BOOM!! Hit a PR on the bench (and still losing weight)!!  Not a total weight PR, but got two extra reps at about 80% 1RM.  I log all my workouts and this was a breakthrough.  I'm stronger now, than when I was 35 (at least in the bench)

Just totally excited to be enjoying some unexpectedly great results so soon even at my age (over 50) and am really hopeful that some moderate 'boosts' to my TRT just might produce even better results!

Also, the TRT so far has really helped with mood, outlook, and libido.  I'm really diggin' it!  I think the only other person who may be enjoying the TRT more is my wife. If anybody is wondering if these effects are real, don't wonder any more.

And, bless her heart, she's perfectly willing to do the pinning for me.  Is it wrong that my wife injecting me kinda turns my crank? Is that wrong 😉 ??

You really start feeling the benefits after a few months. I think the libido increase was almost right away for me as well. But I feel great, even at the dr’s prescribed dosage, I run and work circles around kids almost 20 years younger then myself. I do occasionally go above the dosage in a blast and cruise type deal, and it definitely helps my (and yours) workouts. I didn’t find that I sleep anymore then I did pre-trt, but rather that I function a lot better while still only sleeping 4-6 hours a night, so I guess the quality improved.

Same with confidence. I was stuck in the same dead end career that I hated but never had the balls to change or do anything about until all of a sudden I wasn’t afraid of trying something different, which I 100% attribute to being on trt, so there’s that too.

Have fun with it man, it’s the closest thing to a fountain of youth that I know of.

  8. I don’t know about most posts. There’s always going to be that one guy who’ll post a ton of stupid shit just to win.

I’d say most reps, or if mods have the time to actually pour over the threads, whoever actually contributes the most to relevant topics (answering questions, giving advice, showing wife’s boobies)

IIRC, they imposed it in Ontario.

Is it just me or does Trudeau have the most punchable face on the planet??

I have dreams about punching him in face. Oddly enough, those are the days I wake up with morning wood....

  10. Kenny abolished the ndp placed carbon tax here in Alberta on Thursday night, but Ottawa is already in place to force a federal carbon tax on us shortly.

Well challenge it in court, and we’ll likely lose just as Saskatchewan did.

Fuck carbon tax and fuck Trudeau

oooo that's nasty my man.  They don't do those much anymore.  You may be in luck because (I assume) you're in good shape, are young, eat well, etc etc.  If cortisone, shockwave therapy, acupuncture, active release, stretches, strenghtening etc etc just won't do it, then this really is a last resort to alleviate pain.

It could keep you out of the gym for 4-6 months of heavy lifting...100%

But you'll be able to go in and train with other body parts, you will be doing rehab relatively soon afterwards.  When healed, you should have good function back but dont' ever expect to return to function like you were when you were 20-25.  Just isn't going to happen.  The point is to release the tendon/split it, insert it into a new spot, clean it up so it can contract without causing mechanical pain.  Proper rehab and recovery and TIME will allow you to have the best functional outcome.

Thanks man. I think I’ll just be working legs and get my cardio back up. It’s frustrating but it is what it is.

  12. Has anyone here had a tenotomy done? It’s my last resort on this goddamn elbow of mine. According to my doctor and other online sources, I might be out of the gym for 4-6 months. 😡

Anyone gone through this or something similar that can pass on some words of wisdom?

    its infuriating

So it's 80% better. I had to stop the therapy for a week and a half. I have zero evidence of this but I believe it upped my test levels. I'm on my trt 200 dose, get bloods done and usually my ranges are around 500-550. Well this time they came back over 800. Either I pulled more in the barrel (probably did) and/or the tb500 also raised test and threw off my readings. So I have to take off until the next Monday to redo my bloods and see wtf happened.

I finally did get my first decent shoulder workout in and I could hold a 30 lbs dumbbell and do laterals! Was really happy with it! Still plugging at work but literally as soon as I get my labs done again next week I'm back on to finish my bottles.

You mentioned that the tb500 may have messed up your testosterone numbers, and you were going to look into it. What did you find?

What is this in regards to? Good luck dealing with CBC, they're owned by The Libs and the ass hat Trudeau

It had to do with factual firearm statistics on crime, that CBC removed from a website because it contradicted Trudeau.

    fucking ombudsperson lol

2688 is ostarine right? I know it's been credited with being mildly liver toxic in some individuals.... even though it's touted by the people who sell it as having no sides.

I personally have researched mk 677 to 50 mg and held too much water, have settled out at 25mg's.

    Have never taken ostarine though.

Yep, it’s ostarine. I’ve read similar, hence my apprehension

  16. Does anyone know if said title is possible?

Ive been taking mk-677(12.5mg) and mk-2866(25mg) to help treat tennis elbow and other joint issues.

For whatever reason, my wife decided to mix the two together and now I can’t tell which is which. I know the mk-677 “should” be okay if I double dose, but the 2866 at 50mg has got me a bit leery on maybe overdosing, and a google search has mixed answers. This is my first time taking any sarms, so I’m hoping to get a bit of advice from you guys who’ve more experience.

Should I just toss them and chalk it up as a waste?

Well I just blew a few grand lol we’ll test this home gym out.  I’m keeping my membership for now it’s cheap enough, this will just allow me to train 2x a day if I want.  As I get used to my new set up and run a good routine I’ll then consider leaving my gym

Motivation for me in the gym has nothing to do with anyone but myself.  I don’t want to lift more because someone is watching.  I lift my ass off for me and me alone.

If I’m not dying after a training session I didn’t go hard enough.  If I feel like I could have done one more set or one more rep I push myself even harder the next time. Remind myself to leave it all out there.  Sounds cliche but just the way I approach my training.

Might be a little late for this, but I hope/suggest you got a high quality bench. I’ve seen cheapies collapse under big weight, my buddy got real hurt years ago. My bench is probably my most expensive piece of equipment, it’s rated to hold around 1000 pounds (not that I’ll ever bench that lmao), comfortable,  ergonomic and can utilize the leg extension/preacher curl attachments.

    Cant stress quality bench enough.
