  1. If you know your normal dosage range and how you're body reacts....so your 'sweet spot', doing it self TRT is fine (yet not ideal). One of the major things I'd do for self TRT if not getting all the bloodwork would be to regularly donate blood, as that's one thing you don't want to get too high/thick. Just lie on the survey and say you didn't inject anything etc. Even blood full of test is fine for patients, won't interfere or have a negative response.
  2. No I'm Canadian from ontario...had 3 diff docs prescribe HCG. One in ottawa doesn't do trt anymore, other was general pract who did it for short period until got to specialist and current person who I'd recommend ppl see still does - dr welchner in Aurora. Dr.Komer is mastermens will do it too but you might have to push for it.
  3. I'm sure some of you know who I am, yet I see a ton of new faces so I'm sure some have no idea who I am lol. Anyway, I been around for awhile so some old forum guys know me. I'm not really an old guy tho, just been on forums awhile since I just turned 31. 31 Isn't considered old yet right? Finally finished going back to school and now a registered nurse. Just looking for work now. Life got stressful school, and some deaths in the family and I went down that road of neglecting myself. I ballooned up to 265 pounds at 6'1 and took a few months off from the gym. Getting my health back to my priorities now and going to work that number back now. I think I need to be around 200 lbs to be a health bodyfat around 15%. So I got a ton of work ahead of me but I just got back from a trip to ireland and feel rejuvenated. I can't help but think long term, I feel as if mentally I'm now more stable with what I want. I don't want to be 'huge' or I don't care anymore about deadlifting 500+. I just want to fit, healthy, and functionally strong. If numbers keep going up on the lifts, no complaints tho hah. My max deadlift so far was 505 yet I think with memory muscle and if I'm injury free that is doable again even within my new focus. I've been on TRT since I was 23, so still on that. No known cause for those wondering. I still feel like the gym/TRT/everyone on the forums helped turn me life around from that scared individual who literally was still living in my parents basement playing world of warcraft and didn't want to interact with anyone. Life is good now. I just need to realize that its my own responsibility now to make the choices of healthy foods and exercise to feel good....since I deserve it.
  4. 2-3 week stints of hcg every 6 months? Find a new doc, that makes no sense if I read that correctly. If you're on TRT you should be on hcg or off hcg....not on and off. If you're not using testosterone HCG can be used to kick start your natty system for few ppl, but doesn't work for all....yet since you mention trt protocol, you aren't working with natty levels anymore anyway. So I really have no idea what the reasoning for that regimen is.
  5. Test/Estrogen level is a crap shoot honestly since it's person dependent. The Estradoil test itself has multiple flaws but we still use it anyway. Best way is to go by what you know. To me, for you, that sounds like a normal test level with higher e2 level then normal. Estradoil test levels ranges keep changing and some TRT docs are still fine with double the normal values. The key is going by how the person feels/any side effects(gyno?).
  6. Instead of being your own doctor, go find a doc who knows what they're doing. TRT/HRT has many specialists now so there is no excuse since the majority of people are at worse a few hour car ride away from getting a decent doc.
  7. Hey, finally stopping by and signed up here. Been crazy busy. Some of you probably know who I am, some don't....but that's okay too :). I'll try to be bit more active than I've been past few months but honestly I like to just step back lately. Training hasn't been great since dealing with some injuries but focused again to hit some new PRs by next summer is the goal so going to try my best at it. That said, if anyone wants to talk feel free to PM me since I'll get notification and reply.
