I’m aiming for 4 weeks minimum we’ll see how it goes. I’ve heard great things so I’m hoping I respond well to it.

Well I just blew a few grand lol we’ll test this home gym out. I’m keeping my membership for now it’s cheap enough, this will just allow me to train 2x a day if I want. As I get used to my new set up and run a good routine I’ll then consider leaving my gym
Motivation for me in the gym has nothing to do with anyone but myself. I don’t want to lift more because someone is watching. I lift my ass off for me and me alone.
If I’m not dying after a training session I didn’t go hard enough. If I feel like I could have done one more set or one more rep I push myself even harder the next time. Remind myself to leave it all out there. Sounds cliche but just the way I approach my training.

My gym just got a set, I’ve been experimenting with them as a warm up on shoulder days. Gets blood moving for sure

only downside to a home gym is you need to keep yourself motivated. So I leave the iPad/phone upstairs and just turn on music.
I have been off for a couple of months, but now that my health is better and I can eat enough, I’m hitting the weights agsin. I’ll be back to my old self in a couple of weeks.
Good luck getting back into it! I train at 3am at the gym no one here it’s beautiful. I hate people being around me when I train. That’s why I’m seriously debating building my own.

Been seriously debating building a home gym... issue I have is either I have to go compact set up for my basement or spend the money for an addition on my garage and have a great home gym.

Chosing to get off cycle was a good idea. Getting training diet and your mind right is of highest importance! Reason I mention mind right is because (I’m not being an ass) you seem to have settled that this is as far as you can get for the year... never stop trying never stop pushing yourself brother. Don’t settle for well that’s enough fuck it for the next couple weeks. Losing fat and weight isn’t easy... it comes with a mind set and a whole different life style. Live it day in day out!

Been a bit since I logged so weight is around 250 up or down a couple pounds first thing in the morning but the waist and stomach are still shrinking.
Tonight I was off work earlier than expected so decided fuck it hit the gym for legs. Lots of people hate leg day I love it.
Hammered out an hour session destroying my legs I could barely get my pants off or on feels great. Very minimal rest between sets (under 30 seconds) Didn’t throw up but damn close haha
now eating chicken breast broccoli and rice with a little low sodium soy sauce
As a side note with all the “bros” standing around on their phones, just sitting on machines reminds me why I love working out at 2am. And to all those that barbell curl in the squat rack.... fuck you go away lol

I’m starting to like this home gym stuff hit leg day at my normal gym this morning at 2am off a bit early from work just finished an hour of beating on my bis and tris feeling good!
