  1. Ann Intern Med. 2010 May 4;152(9):568-77. doi: 10.7326/0003-4819-152-9-201005040-00007. The effects of growth hormone on body composition and physical performance in recreational athletes: a randomized trial. Meinhardt U1, Nelson AE, Hansen JL, Birzniece V, Clifford D, Leung KC, Graham K, Ho KK. Author information BACKGROUND: Growth hormone is widely abused by athletes, frequently with androgenic steroids. Its effects on performance are unclear. OBJECTIVE: To determine the effect of growth hormone alone or with testosterone on body composition and measures of performance. DESIGN: Randomized, placebo-controlled, blinded study of 8 weeks of treatment followed by a 6-week washout period. Randomization was computer-generated with concealed allocation. (Australian-New Zealand Clinical Trials Registry registration number: ACTRN012605000508673) SETTING: Clinical research facility in Sydney, Australia. PARTICIPANTS: 96 recreationally trained athletes (63 men and 33 women) with a mean age of 27.9 years (SD, 5.7). INTERVENTION: Men were randomly assigned to receive placebo, growth hormone (2 mg/d subcutaneously), testosterone (250 mg/wk intramuscularly), or combined treatments. Women were randomly assigned to receive either placebo or growth hormone (2 mg/d). MEASUREMENTS: Body composition variables (fat mass, lean body mass, extracellular water mass, and body cell mass) and physical performance variables (endurance [maximum oxygen consumption], strength [dead lift], power [jump height], and sprint capacity [Wingate value]). RESULTS: Body cell mass was correlated with all measures of performance at baseline. Growth hormone significantly reduced fat mass, increased lean body mass through an increase in extracellular water, and increased body cell mass in men when coadministered with testosterone. Growth hormone significantly increased sprint capacity, by 0.71 kJ (95% CI, 0.1 to 1.3 kJ; relative increase, 3.9% [CI, 0.0% to 7.7%]) in men and women combined and by 1.7 kJ (CI, 0.5 to 3.0 kJ; relative increase, 8.3% [CI, 3.0% to 13.6%]) when coadministered with testosterone to men; other performance measures did not significantly change. The increase in sprint capacity was not maintained 6 weeks after discontinuation of the drug. LIMITATIONS: Growth hormone dosage may have been lower than that used covertly by competitive athletes. The athletic significance of the observed improvements in sprint capacity is unclear, and the study was too small to draw conclusions about safety. CONCLUSION: Growth hormone supplementation influenced body composition and increased sprint capacity when administered alone and in combination with testosterone. PMID: 204395

  5. I have a four year old. i understand. i try and teach him to tidy up as best as he can. i help him. sometimes i notice him catching on to my habits. which, is okay? but, i don't want him being too extreme where, it turns into a disorder. chaos is normal, i used to get anxious when it got chaotic, i still kinda do but, i've learned how to control myself. what was sweet of my kiddo today. after lunch, i laid down for a nap so, he did the two plates of dishes for me. he will be a great man when he grows up (At least I hope he will be)

  7. Once you loose 10-13 lbs of fat you’ll look really ripped, likely around 9-10% then. Time to hit the beach then, lol.

  9. Depends what kind of bulk ur looking for. Ie) if u want to add as much lean mass as possible vs as much size and strength as possible. Lean mass bulk- Tren ace @ 50mg/day to start and go as high as u can handle. Up to 200mg/day depending on bloodwork and how u feel. Test prop @ 50%-100% of tren ace dose Pharma gh - only REAL pharma or dont bother with hgh at all. And if u dont have real hgh then dont bother with the insulin protocol below either UNLESS ur a very skinny hard gainer and even then u may get fat. (if it doesnt start with Nordi/omni/sero then its not real pharma gh. NO MATTER HOW PEOPLE TRY TO MARKET IT). Run this 3-4x per day at low dosages. Insulin - most guys will run a long acting insulin like lantus as soon as u wake up which will last u all day as a baseline. (4weeks on 4 weeks off) Start @ 30iu and ull go much higher. Probably to 80 or 90iu of that. Aswell as a quick acting humalog type insulin with ur pre and post workout meals to start...working up to taking it with EVERY meal. All out mass bulk (size and strength)- Test E/C ran very high. Bare minimum 1200mg/wk. Deca ran at 50-70% of test Anadrol run as much as u can handle and still have an appetite. As high as start at 50mg/day and increase from there. Its not uncommon to see people break 250mg/day. 4-6 weeks on with 2-3 weeks off then back on seems to work amazingly but it all dep3nds on ur bloodwork. Some guys May need longer time off. During your time without orals dont waste ur time with milk thistle or TUDCA. Mega dose this for 30 days...NAC @3g/day + inositol@3g/day + methionine @1.5g/day. After that ur liver should be pristine not to mention healthier liver means far more efficient fat loss so ull likely notice some fat loss after this megadose liver clean-out. Aromasin- keep it as low as possible. U want ur estrogen pretty high here. Same hgh and insulin protocol as above. 1 year of this style of living and ull forever be a different person. In many ways. You'll permanently change ur baseline metabolism, size, possibly even outward physical appearance may change. The muscle u gained here (speaking about high dose anabolics WITH overlapping insulin and high dose pharma hgh) will stick with u much more than muscle acrued just through anabolic use only. Essentially you'll never be small again. Which may seem great now at 25 or 30 years old. But when ur 65 and ready to retire and ur back/knees hurt from still being a 220lb old man u may have regrets. Anywho...those are my thoughts

  11. I weighed 110 in grade 12. Started weight training when I was 22 and weighed 120, after about 2 months and a lot of reading magazines I started to grow. 6 months later I was 160 but my fat levels were higher, like 12 instead of 8 if I was guessing. Guys at work teased me about running gear. now I lived slept and dreamed lifting. Everything was structured around it. I was so bad with being regimented I almost pooped and peed on a schedule, lol. I would be over 200 lb at 5’6” if I continued on, but honestly back then I only trained to pick up woman, and once I got more confidence and found my wife, started my business it took a back seat. But being an ectomorph it was easy to have a beach body lifting heavy stuff at work and having a high metabolism. Wasn’t until I was in my early 40’s saw a picture of me shirtless on a boat and thought, damn I’m startong to get a dad bod. So then I hit the training again, went from 140 fatish, to 194 around 12% over 5 years. If my gut had not got so bad I would have hit 200 this year. It’s ok though, my wife didn’t like me that big, plus my blood pressure was starting to rise, so I’m sitting at 175 and around 10% (btw I use calipers, but it’s all just a guess) so only 3 meals a day right now, not 6-7. Honestly with a high metabolism it will feel like all you do is eat, lol. Fat guys are jealous because they would love to do that, but it gets tiring sometimes trying to eat that much with variety Btw, I usually do cardio when I have a nagging injury and am taking a bit of a break to let it heal. Cardio is really important to growth at a certain point. If you can’t get enough oxygen and nutrient to your muscle it won’t grow. Just at first when you are tiny it’s best to avoid until you learn to eat enough.
