  1. I wouldn't touch that with an 11' pole. Every bit of the website information is hidden, registerd in BC Canada in 2016 is about all you can find out. I see no mention anywhere of banners where they sponsor anywhere in any forums and it looks like most of the pharma they claim to be selling is black market EU stuff. The only payment they accept is BitCoin. That's a recipe for disaster when all heaped together. There's just as much chance you'll never see your money again , or any gear, as anything else I would say!
  2. That pic is not the VentroGluteal, not the circled part anyway...I noticed when I was researching how many pics there were around that were incorrect. Didnt make things easier thats for sure.
  3. Not at all but we'd like to have reviews where there is something more than an brand new member's say so to back up the review. When people sign up to the community and all they contribute is negative reviews it looks a bit suspect wouldn't you say. Sadly this happens all of the time in this community in general, not just this board, and we would like to avoid as much of that as possible.
  4. In the case of negative reviews like this I would suggest that you take photos of the gear to share along with the review. looking at it objectively, the appearance is that you sign up here and your very first posts are slamming a brand and you have shown absolutely nothing to show there is any truth to your story. And you've thrown the stuff out apparently so can't even add photos now, I hope you can see how people may have an issue taking your post seriously.
  5. Ya me too....More frequent pins = less juice per which is likely to lead to less issues just by default. I know when I pin in my pecs, for example, that there is definitely a sweet spot that if I go past that in volume of whatever it's gonna leave a bit of a knot for a bit. Some spots it's not likely to matter much as the muscle will hold more juice but I still think the smaller volume is less likley to cause an issue.
  6. So up until the point where you said you went from glute to thigh I was wondering if maybe you hadnt hit the Sciatic nerve. I've never done it but I'm very familiar with the nerve and I have heard in this respect it can be a real bitch. If it's the same gear that you had no issue with b4 and by same I mean out of the same vial then you have to ask yourself if, even thinking that you observed perfect sterile procedure, you didnt somehow manage to contaminate the vial. Easily done and even the best make mistakes that they miss. There is 100% no reason for the gear to suddenly cause this when it hasn't b4 so I'd be looking at contamination of some sort but you weren't specific about the nature of the "sameness" of the gear so I'm just guessing. BTW, going from glute to quad, especially when you are worried about a possible problem already, probably not the best plan. A great many folks, pros included will preach from the mountain tops about not pinning the quads at all because of the likelihood of having issues. Just my thoughts on it
  7. Did you try contacting them directly? That would be the logical first step. Their product, their info right. That should always be your first try. After that, then perhaps peeps here could help but you need to contact the vendor first for any info on their items.
  8. You're quite welcome. I roll out of bed still bleary eyed and go to the fridge, crack open a carton of egg whites and the wife has an omellette for lunch at work a few mins later. I prep ahead raw veg and low fat cheese/cottage cheese for her in little containers and throw some of that into her big carry-all she uses for lunch/water/etc along with the omellette and she's good to go. I mix it up for her with hard boiled instead of omelete cuz they are easy to make ahead. We buy a lot of club-pak sized stuff at CostCo and prep ahead pretty much everything except sit down together suppers. The prepping ahead goes a long way to keeping you on track because its the PITA on the spot making that makes peeps go "F" it a lot of the time and eat something that isn't anywhere near as healthy as what they didnt make but was less work at the time to get on a plate. For fast snacks, especially something that satisfies the sweet tooth, I look for low fat recipes of that genre and then figure out how to work protein powder into it in place of other ingredients as well as something high in fiber and then you end up with a really healthy snack that can again be made way ahead and is always light years better than any pre-packaged bar. The wife and I take 1 day where we are both home/free at the same time, to do all of our prep for the coming 2 weeks and with 2 people doing it then it goes by really quickly and agin, makes it so much easier to stay on track with your healthy eating plan.
  9. I've looked at them numerous times and never been particularly impressed with their products and especially not their prices. Not sure what market they are trying to speak to but given their pricing you would expect something more special than fancy, hoodoo mystic names on the products!
  10. So after looking at the 2 you mentioned, I can see right off where I would suspect you are running into problems. Both of them contain something called IMO or Isomalto-Oligosaccharides. IMO is listed as a Prebiotic Fiber on the MusclePharm product, one little problem with that is that its not a fiber and in most cases its not even produced naturally. Tons of people have reactions to the stuff. hard to say why you didn't have a reaction the 1st time around but again, it's not surprising that you eventually did. I guess in Canada no one is forcing these manufacturers into compliance with describing this stuff as a Fiber or Prebiotic Fiber but in the US the FDA slammed them down flat, refusing to grant anyone "Fiber" ingredient status for the stuff. I was already aware of it as I am a label reader, with food anyway, and more and more things every day as it seems a necessity these days, sadly. I would stear clear of anything that lists this stuff in the ingredients. heres a bit of an article that covers the topic. What Is IMO? The Truth Behind “Healthy” Protein Bars
  11. Fair enough...I wouldnt want to put my body through that either...Did you happen to notice if the manufacturer changed the ingredients at all? I notice a lot of the protein bars are moving to using figs as sweetner/emulsifier and man if figs go off they can be really nasty...they shouldn't when used in these products as the way they are prepared shouldn't allow that to happen but you never know, and if they did you've described pretty much how you would feel and if they were a bit worse you'd be running to the head! I'd check that, and the lot numbers to see if they are close, and the only reason i would, if you've decided not to purchase more, is that then I would reach out to the manufacturer with lot numbers as maybe you have identified an issue. They can be really generous with freebies, as thanks, in a case like that.
  12. I swear, Dave and Lee goig back and forth absolutely slay me at times. Watch back through the videos. There are some classic moments especially with Lee being probably the single most politically incorrect man on the planet lol... Dave Palumbo & Lee Priest - Iron Rage
  13. @Newguylol The idea would be to read the rules first so that you aren't in a position to post something and have to remove it when you discover it violates the rules. It could have just as easily been caught by a mod/admin during the hour it sat b4 you deleated it and then you would have ended up with a warning from one of us vs a community member reminding you that reading the rules comes 1st before anything else. You're brand new to the community and should know enough to be on your best behavior rather than not reading the rules until after the fact and then throwing attitude at a community member when they bring that fact to your attention. I don't really care if you didn't like how the message was delivered, you're not coming in here and getting smart with folks. You won't be warned again.
  14. I hear you but I can't see that being their fault unless you think they are selling knock off product or tampering somehow? As far as returns on opened merch some places allow a store credit but you pay the shipping back and others offer sample packs if it's their own product, but not many will offer full refunds on opened stuff. If the stuff is defective thats another story but anyway, did you reach out to them at all? I have spoken with them a few times and they always seem to be pretty responsive in getting back quickly and working with you.
  15. I didn't say there was no benefit specifically, I said there's no argument to be made that it's good for you and I didnt mention CBD, we were speaking specifically of weed if I am not mistaken. Unlike the myriad of other substances, excepting certain SARMS, there is a boatload of study data pointing toward the benefits, as well as the harms possibly involved. To this day there are still alkaloid compunds in weed that no one has any clue what they do and we are just starting to see some of the long term effects that seemed to have gone unnoticed previously. But speaking more directly to fitness, muscle building, endurance etc., I'd absolutely love to hear an argument made where weed benefits any of that and there is absolutely any credible research to support it.
  16. To each their own but it really surprises me how often I see the topic of weed coming up relating to questions people have in "Fitness" forums. IMHO, if you're trying to optimize, get fit, be the best version of yourself that you can be, or even just trying to be more healthy, where the heck does anyone get the idea that weed has any place in there at all? There is 0 argument to be made that it's either good for you or not bad for you so it really doesn't make much sense. Anyway, again, to each their own, but to me, adding weed in to the equation makes about as much sense as our Canadian govt saying "Legalization will keep weed out of the hands of our children", in other words, 0 sense!
  17. I have not seen one as of yet. He's usually pretty prompt with that so I'm sure it will known in the very near future.
  18. That's tailor made for you buddy. The Deca will help those joint pains of yours bigtime! Speaking of...I think I'm gonna be down for some too!
  19. SupplementsSource Sale and Clearance Specials supplementssource.ca has some sale and clearance items currently and there are some pretty good items across a wide range and some are deeply discounted. I picked up a pre-workout that although not the greatest pre it is a really good all around health tonic and should be a decent boost in energy for all but the hardcore stim junkies (like myself lol but every little bit helps). It even has D-Ribose (very uncommon in a product like this but super for influencing energy at a cellular level) and some Lions Mane Mushroom nootropic. Also grabbed a BPI Health Product that I have been eyeballing quite a while but at regular price no way was I pulling the trigger.. $14.95 for the BPI Health "Green Tea, Beetroot, Fibre & MCTs and $20 for the Progressive Sport "Before" pre.. These are deep discounts from the regular pricing across retail outlets. These are a no brainer for the money and health benefit IMHO. The health benefits alone from the nitrates in both are worth the $$$ and nitrates are hard to come by in what we eat unless you are in the habit of having a weekly "Beet Fest" or something lol...
  20. Indeed. I even have a severed finger from one of the last rule breakers nailed to a stick so that I can waggle it menacingly without having to use my own!
  21. Couldn't have said it better. And as a real newcomer to the community I can completely relate to that feeling of anxiety about asking a question and worrying that the vets will laugh at your noobness! That's one of the really fantastic things about this particular community here at NL is that just doesn't happen! People are all about the help in any way they can and that has a huge impact on making others feel comfortable asking the questions they need answered in order for them to progesss on their own personal journey!
  22. @djbatts19 Good on you man, I knew you'd find it that way. I spent literally hours and hours watching videos, looking at pics and getting nowhere. I just couldnt get to the place where I felt confident enough that I had the right spot. It sure doesn't help that basically all the online videos are from a helper's perspective. I just refused to give up because well, I'm just stubborn that way, lol.. Listening to some of the people who have been bodybuilding for years, and have tons of definition, I was starting to feel pretty dejected because, as mentioned, due to my health issues and downtime I had less than no definition in the muscle so absolutely no way of just "finding it" because the muscle "mapped" itself and was easily seen. And to make matters worse, I lost track of how many people posted pictures of where to pin and it wasn't even the actual VG site lol... You also will rarely see the term "Ventrogluteal" mentioned in an anatomy reference outside of a few nursing study aids.discussions like this and related literature. The corect name for it is the gluteus medius muscle. Knowing that doesn't really help much either lol but at least you can find the correct name labelled more easily in anatomy references. Adding the VG on both sides into your rotation is a really big deal IMHO as once you've found it, it's so easy after that, painless, almost unbelievably so, and it will take a lot of juice without issue. No down sides to it at all. Glad I could be of help and feel free to pass the methodology along to anyone at anytime as the bottom line is just getting it done and helping out in any way we can right! Cheers
  23. @djbatts19 I'll tell you that the way I found easiest eventually after reading everything I could find. And it's embarrassingly simple and I felt stoopid as hell for not having discovered it sooner. One of the things I noticed is if you lack any significant definition its harder to find and for me that was a problem as I'm coming off of a serious down time due to health issues. So here's what i figured out. If you are going to pin in your right side say...Make sure you have a sock on your foot as this is hard to do in bare feet.Put your weight on your right leg (or left if you are pinning that side so I guess weight on the side you are going to pin) Put all of the weight on the ball of that foot and lift your heal off the ground. Rotate/swivel your foot/ankle/leg /hip. You're basically swivelling through an arc of about a half circle with the ball of your foot being the fulcrum of the swivel...you'll get the hang of it fast even though it sounds confusing. While you are doing this make sure to have the fingers of the hand on the side you will pin, planted firmly against the fleshy area that is just a few inches down from your hip bone and slightly forward of the mid line of your leg. You will feel that sucker, the VG muscle, "POP" every time you swivel your foot/ankle once you get the hang of it. It seems like a small site but isn't really just without a lot of definition the part that pops well is smaller. It will take a lot of juice though no problem and it's probably the most pain free site that I pin in. I haven't gotten to Lats yet as with the VG I have a 6 site rotation so no rush lol. Delts, Pecs, VG so even pinning every day it still gives you a bit of space b4 you get back to the same spot again. If you can't manage to find it the way I described, although I bet you will, if you get some help it will be a boatload easier for someone else to find it and mark it for you. All of the videos online are with someone else doing it basically which doesnt help self injection really at all.
