  1. This was a quality share. Good to have in the arsenal for sure!
  2. Merry Liftmas Northern Lifters!! May your gains be plentiful in the coming year!
  3. Well. Now that it’s over, what’s everybody think? Under dog city IMO. 212 and Open no one was even thinking about Clarida and Ramy for those respective wins. But holy shit did they both deserve it! and while Curry lost out in open I still think he proved he deserved it last year by still beating Heath this year. Since everyone kept saying the only reason he got it then was Heaths absence. And I have to say I gotta eat crow on this one, I thought for sure politics and money (with the doc he’s filming) would guarantee a win for Heath, I was 100% wrong. Which honestly I’m pretty stoked about. Brings back a little bit of faith. classic tho. Great show man. Bumstead came in so improved from last year as such a clear winner right from the get go. But Ruffin was the best part. Took second, deservedly IMO, and his posing was top notch. Like the best in the game! I think Breons 3rd place is a sign to either give it up, or go into 212 or maybe even open, he has a great structure for bodybuilding, not so much classic, well at least not the way the judging has been going the last few years.
  4. I think Phil could walk on stage in his worst condition and he’ll still win this year. Not as a knock to anyone that his worst is better than their best or anything, but let’s face facts, Phil has been filming a documentary all year about his return to get his 8th title. And he’s filming it with 7 Buck Spin. Who are working in conjunction with the Olympia. There is no way they’re gonna invest all that time and money just to have him lose. as an edit I forgot: Hunter Labrada I think could honestly be top 10 this year. With the real possibility of even a top 6. He looks insane, especially so young and this Olympia is only his 2nd pro show. Also I’m pretty bummed that Flex Lewis dropped this year, I was really excited to see his open debut. As far as classic, I agree that I think Bumstead will take it. It seems to be the direction the judging is going in classic, Breon is def looking more “bodybuilding “ than classic. Ruffin definitely could be a wild card as well as far as top 3 IMO. But I’m also excited to see how Peterson does in 212. I think the move up from classic was a smart move. I think he’ll be top 3 for sure.
  5. I agree with @MaskedMisery I do shoulders 2-3 times a week. And with a lot of the exercises I also do tempo work. Like a 2 sec pause on the contraction and 4 sec drop on the negative. etc etc.
  6. Hey NL crew, just figured I’d leave a little something here. I’ve been using BT for the last couple of years and I’ve already left a review on their quality. Which is Always top notch. But figured I’d leave another one as it’s relevant to that BS post I saw on the forum earlier this week. My last order there was a mix up somewhere, where my email order got lost in the shuffle, or failed to send, but from my end it said it was delivered. After not hearing back a few days I contacted the rep on here NL, and within the end of day he had it sorted to send through to another member of their team. And everything was settled just like they. They put the order together ASAP. The whole thing was Super prompt. And all the team members were Super helpful. And there certainly was no BS. I got a tracking number next day. I got my stuff yesterday, And I’m ready to roll. I have before and once again definitely recommend these guys. Great stuff. Great service. No fuckin’ around.
  7. I saw a video forever ago where he said his cruise was 175. I think he was blasting at 500 when he found out his test was bunk. but either way. Serious genetics. Obviously responding super well to gear, cause even at bunk test amounts he was in serious good shape. Like up at 230-240 lbs or something.
  8. As a throw in, I’d have to add that body building is a bit more like art than sport. Not saying it doesn’t take dedication commitment and athleticism. Like sport. But as far as what is considered “a winning physique” is more like art, that it evolves, unlike sport where a goal is a goal a run is a run a touch down is a touch down no matter how fast the game gets or how the rules evolve, the basic “win” is always the same undisputed principle. But in body building like art, it’s always evolving what WAS rewarded isn’t always going TO BE rewarded. As I think we can all say we seen in our own life times.

  10. Always interested in Hearing other options. Size is the name of the game this cycle (as with all bulking cycles) but I don’t normally use orals, unless it’s for strength purposes or late in a cut. I’m debating trying something this year. Not 100% committed either. Just doing some research weighting the options. Seeing if I’ll bother.
  11. As the title suggests, looking for some hands on experience/advise on Superdrol. I hear it’s pretty harsh. Also hear tbol and var combo can accomplish similar results but less harsh. I’ve never tried it. Looking to the board for any and all comments on the subject.
  12. I would say certainly suspect at the minimum. He had be involved with the Olympia behind the scenes for a while by then. His entry was also a last minute surprise (as I recall the story going) he was never announced before the show. And at the show he kept doing wrong (but strong for him) poses instead of the called out poses. Like doing a side bi instead of side tri, saying he couldn’t hear the announcement properly. add that to his 1971 win (all be it he was in great shape that year. Great) but he was literally the ONLY one competing for the title. Everyone else was disqualified before the show. So not sure I’d call that a competitive win either. so 7 titles yeah, but I’d say he only really won 5. 2 where handed to him. IMO.
  13. Gotta agree with everyone about the blood work. 100%. And I second @Mikk0090 on tapering down. I find that works great for me as well. as and edit I’m at 150 TRT. Good levels for me there. And I know guys that do 100 and that works for them. So 100 isn’t necessarily low.
  14. Alberta gyms are allowed to open this Friday (12th). 2 m distance. But it’ll be up to each gym to decided if they’re gonna open on that date. Some here aren’t opening till next week. Heard good life is t gonna open till July 1st. haven’t heard anything from my gym. Hoping it’s at least next week...
